Most shows at Cobb’s are 18+, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Age requirements may vary, so please check individual event pages for details.

Some shows are only General Admission seating and therefore first-come first-served. However, we offer preferred seating and front row seating (that are also first come first-served) for an additional fee to certain performances. Contact the box office for more details.

We do a really good job of seating our guests together but remember that General Admission seating is 'first come first served' so with large parties it is best to arrive early and together. The majority of the party must be present in order to be seated together

Sometimes our shows do sell out in advance, so we always recommend purchasing tickets early when possible. That said, there are still a few things you can try! Occasionally, additional tickets are released the day before or even the day of the show, so we recommend checking back and refreshing the ticket link closer to showtime, just in case. If you’re feeling lucky, you’re also welcome to come to the venue early and wait in our standby line. In some cases, tickets are released shortly before showtime, and standby guests may have the opportunity to purchase tickets at the door. While availability can’t be guaranteed, we’ll always do our best to get you into the show!

Return to the place of purchase to see what the return policy is. If you purchased them by visiting our box office our policy is that the tickets are NON-refundable NON-exchangeable.

Tickets for cancelled shows can be refunded at the point of purchase. If you purchased tickets online through cobbscomedy.com, livenation.com or ticketmaster.com, your refund will automatically be processed in 3-5 business days.

 Doors open 1 hour before showtime except for late shows. 

Re-entry is not permitted at Cobb's.

Yes, we have a 2 beverage minimum per guest in our showroom.

Yes, but you DO NOT have to purchase an alcoholic beverage. Mocktails, sodas, juices, sparkling waters and more are also available to you.

No, but we have a robust menu of food offerings, only beverages (including non-alcoholic) count toward the 2 beverage minimum.

Cobb’s Comedy Club does not have a dedicated parking lot. Street parking is available in the surrounding area. We recommend reading all parking signs carefully and arriving early to allow enough time to find a spot before the show.

The Cobb’s box office opens 1 hour before doors on show nights. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and cash.

Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be invalid, refunded, lost, stolen or counterfeit, and if so are void.

No bags larger than 12" x 6" x 12"
No backpacks, Camelbacks, or Bota bags

We encourage you to review our safety and security information below prior to arriving at the venue.

• Please arrive early to the venue to allow enough time for you and your guests to move through the queue and enter the venue.
• Prior to entering the venue, guests will be searched (wand or walk through metal detection and/or pat-downs) to ensure that none of the restricted items enters the building.
• We suggest you leave valuable and unnecessary items at home.
• You may be asked to empty your pockets of all items so that they can be examined.
• All alcohol and narcotic laws will be strictly enforced.
• All bags will be searched, and no large bags or backpacks will be allowed.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone. If you see something that concerns you, please say something to our management or Security so we can ensure the best experience possible.

Restricted Items:

• No Outside Food or Drink Allowed
• No guns, knives, weapons, pepper spray, projectiles of any kind, or any other item that could be used to inflict harm.
• Replicas of any type of weapon are NOT permitted.
• No drugs or drug paraphernalia, illegal substances of any kind.
• No personal video cameras, Go-Pros, selfie sticks or laser pointers.
• No large bags over (10” x 10”), backpacks, Camelbacks or Bota bags
• This list of prohibited items is subject to change at the discretion of venue management

The use or possession of any illegal drugs will not be tolerated anywhere inside or outside the venue.  Do not bring any illegal substances to the event as violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If you are found impaired at the door, security will not allow you to enter the venue. Event staff reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone. Please come with a smile and be prepared to enjoy a fun filled night of comedy.

Cameras and video/audio recording devices are permitted but must be checked in at our complimentary coat check upon arrival.

Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the venue. This also includes vape cigarettes.

Cash and all major credit/debit cards are accepted for our two-drink minimum. However, international credit cards are not. We urge any international cardholders to visit the following ATM: Golden 7 ATM at 940 Columbus Ave, San Francisco, CA 94133

If you do not have a valid ID, but are clearly above drinking age, you will still be admitted into the club, but marked as underage and not permitted alcoholic beverages.

Occasionally we have promotional tickets for eligible veterans, active-duty military personnel, first responders and their families. Please visit Veteran Tickets Foundation at www.vettix.org or First Tickets Foundation at www.1sttix.org to check availability (You must use an existing account or create an account to request tickets.)
