Join us for the 7th Annual Cobb’s Summer Comedy Bash! Every year we bring some of the funniest and hottest comedians in California for one big comedy event that is not to be missed! The Cobb’s Summer Comedy Bash returns to San Francisco with Bay Area favorite Kabir "Kabeezy" Singh headlining! One of the nation's fastest-rising comedy stars, Singh is a huge crowd-pleaser with an abundance of energy, an in-your-face attitude and clever material. He has won numerous comedy competitions, including the 2014 San Francisco International Comedy Competition, and has opened for top comedy stars like Russell Peters, Dave Chappelle, Dane Cook and more. Singh was featured on Season 3 of Comedy Central's Gabriel Iglesias' Stand-Up Revolution. He's been called "The Next Big Indian Comedian" by India West, and has been called "One of the Must-See Stand-Up Comedians in the U.S." by TV Asia.

One of the most uplifting moments on the June 12 episode of “America’s Got Talent” was when 30-year-old Samuel J. Comroe told of how he came to be a stand up comedian. When he was only six, he was diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome. He revealed the heartbreaking consequences of this. “At school, I got bullied, nicknames, teased, being the one left out of things.” As he explains, “there was really no safe zone,” which inspired him to try and use humor to lessen the tension. (Watch his “AGT” audition video below.)

Over the years, Comroe cultivated his comedy and now works the circuit. Rather than being defined by his Tourette’s, he uses it as a starting point for his routines which reflect his life. He makes merry with the reaction that some people have to his twitching. Turning serious, he speaks movingly about trying to teach his young daughter that she can overcome any obstacle that life places in front of her and that we all need to embrace the differences in each other.

This show will also feature Sammy Obeid Lebanese-Palestinian-Syrian-Italian-American, born in Oakland, California, Sammy Obeid (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) is best known for his 1,001 day streak of consecutive comedy performances. It began on December 26th, 2010, and concluded on September 21st, 2013 – four days after an appearance on TBS’s Conan. Breaking the old world record on Day 731, Sammy set the new one at 1,001 Arabian Nights of Comedy. Over the course of the streak, he appeared on NBC’s America’s Got Talent and advanced to the Las Vegas round, and became the first comedian to perform on The Food Network in Throwdown with Bobby Flay. Splitsider conducted an extensive interview with him entering the home stretch. LA Weekly praised Sammy’s “sheer force of will” in performance and lifestyle, and LA Mag recommended his show highly. He was profiled in TIME Magazine, followed soon after by an article in the New York Times. Published on his final day, it describes his material as “full of wordplay” and “clever misdirection.” Chunks of his streak were spent as youngest member of both the CoExist Comedy and Axis of Evil: New Generation national tours. Capping the streak, his debut album, Get Funny or Die Trying, was named a Best Comedy Album of 2013 by iTunes. Sammy was also recently featured on NBC "Last Comic Standing " and NBC's "America's Got Talent".
